Our First Date

I went on a date over the week-end. I went out as Alyson and not as "mommy." It was nice to be out of the house without the Daughters of Destiny. Mr. Richardson and I hadn't been out together, ALONE, since January 2007 - and I was about 7 months pregnant at that! So needless to say, the alone time was much needed as well as appreciated.

Since we didn't have any major plans and only a few hours to burn, we just played by ear what we would get into. At first I thought I wanted to do some gambling at one of the MANY casino's here in StL but honeeeey once my azz stepped foot inside a smoke filled-no proper ventilation-kinda grubby looking casino, uumm I decided to pass. My dayum clothes STILL smell like smoke. And trust, we were walking FAST to get thru to the other side. I felt sorry for the folks who have to work in that sh*t, cuz really you can't see, let alone breathe good with all that dayum smoke and sh*t. I was like Eddie Murphy in Harlem Nights when they locked that fool inside the safe and told him "take small breaths, like this" *making sipping breathing sounds thru teeth* LOL!

Sooooo once we cleared the smokey jungle, we emerged on the other side

to a beautiful hotel and was pleasantly surprised that such a place existed here in Da Lou. So of course this is my new-4-me favorite spot. I'd LOVE to do a overnight get-a-way with Mr. Richardson here next!

You know how we do, we had to take TONS of pictures while passing thru the lobby. LOL








We finally made our way to the elevators and wondered up to the 8th floor. The entire 8th floor has a restaurant, lounge, bar, views, pool, hot tub, cabana's . . . I could go on. Mr. Richardson took the next group of photos from the roof top restaurant, Cielo's.









I'm checking out the lovely viewsor maybe I was just hungry. *chuckle*

We were so busy chatting and eating, we didn't take ANY pictures of all the food we ate. However, he did take a pic of my yummy dessert.
